Beautiful quaint town in southern region. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice hotel within easy walking distance of harbour and restaurants. Many hotels in Iceland are overpriced and not good value, this is not one of those.

Out of all the places we stayed in Iceland, these had the best beds for our comfort. Came with tons of pillows also which was nice. The room was clean and had a school nearby, so we were able to take our toddler to play and a nearby grocery store for snack stop.

Dated hotel, poor customer service bedroom that smelt of open drains. Bathroom has no window there were two exposed drains within the prefab bathroom unit comprising one tiny shower, toilet and sink, not big enough for two people to be in at the same time. To make matters worse, the bathroom smelt rotten which flowed into the bathroom making the sleeping uncomfortable . Receptionist was not interested and just confirmed it can happen when temperature are warmer than expected! No apology for discomfort, pictures shown did not reflect the room we stayed in. We were in Iceland on a road trip for 7 days this hotel was the lowest standard we experienced representing terrible value for money as we stayed in more competitive priced hotel with a far nicer accommodation standard!

Nice hotel in Hofn. We are travelling the southern rim of Iceland, and Hofn was the farthest east we travelled. Staff was friendly and offered assistance. Heated floors in bathrooms were a nice touch. Overall very good experience.

Nice hotel but no elevator.

This hotel was comfortable and clean. The only issue was the lack of an elevator and will have to drag your bags up and down stairs. Also, rooms on the first floor will still require going up some stairs and then back down.
