The host Frank was awesome, very friendly and went out of his way to make sure the room worked for me and that we were comfortable because I had recently recovered from knee surgery. The motel is older but is clean and well kept. We stayed two nights when we first arrived on Haida Gwaii and came back for a third night before catching our ferry home. Frank was nice enough to let us do our laundry for free because we were returning customers. Definitely recommend staying here.

Right across Queen Charlotte information centre and many of the amenities in Queen Charlotte (Daagiing giid) information centre. I got an upgrade free of charge since it was low season. They have a restaurant that serve big plate Menu. ( you will get huge plate of food compare to the other restaurant in Queen Charlotte

Crap shack in Haida gwaii

Weather was absolutely amazing hotel is super old like back in the 60s beds were uncomfortable and super old had a musky smell in the room the screen on the bathroom was taped on which left a gap at the top which let bugs come right in I wouldn’t stay here again

The location was great. The room needed a spring clean. Dust and cobwebs hanging from ceilings. Kitchenette was nice to have but I scraped white gunk off counter. Missing cutlery but Im sure they will get things in order. Desk person was friendly and helpful.
