Lovely place to stay
Although the room was very clean it was a little tired. The staff were very friendly and helpful, couldnt do enough for you. We had an evening meal and also the continental breakfast both of which were excellent. Would definitely stay here again

We only stayed one night but we were impressed by the friendliness of the staff, the excellent food and the evening entertainment. The bedrooms are looking a little tired but were overall clean and comfortable.

Okay for a night
Without sugar coating it, it was a filthy room, staff were great, food was nice, but the room looked nothing like the pictures online!
Mouldy bathroom, and i was above the woman's toilets so i constantly heard the hand dryer going up until midnight.

All in all a good stay, staff were the best thing. Very friendly and helpful.
Food in evening also good.
Room was comfortable on whole, but my only criticism would be the bathroom was dated and felt cramped due to old fashioned style bath/shower.
In any case, I would stay again if in area on work.

The hotel has a very loud karaoke on the night we stayed. The room was shaking from the noise vibrations. Water was too hot and the room smelled of the bathroom throughout

Ok, just tired
Not a bad hotel, just a very tired room. The room was above the beer garden so if I opened the window smoke came in and pointless loud talking from an old fella.

Very disappointing. Little sleep.
Room was very small. Just wide enough for the double bed. Not enough room for a real door on the bathroom, just a sliding panel with no handle.
Pillow had a plastic liner of some sort, so i awoke at 4am with damp hair and didnt go back to sleep. At 6am wafts if smoke started to come in the room from people smoking outside.
Shower good. Breakfast good. Car parking spaces not wide enough for my car.

Overall, good value for money. Small but comfortable, recently refurbished room. Staff very pleasant and helpful throughout the stay. Only small negative was the boisterous patrons who were still going strong (and loud) in the early hours, but no big deal.

I cancelled the booking on Thursday. Apparently they still intend to charge me full price despite me giving nearly 3 days notice let alone 24 hours. I wouldn’t use them again ever. And I have used them many times before.

Rooms look a little tired, quite small and compact, if I wasn't on my own and there were 2 of us it would have been a struggle - space wise

Can be noisy but otherwise good
The room is above a pub so initial part of night was quite noisy
Also you can hear footsteps in corridor and adjoining room
The window in the room was also slightly open despite my best effort
Otherwise clean and good place to stay

A lovely stay
I needed a room overnight while attending an event nearby, and this hotel popped up.
The hotel consists of rooms above a pub. While not ultra-modern, the place was clean and welcoming. Check in was seamless, and I was walked to my room.
The room itself was spacious and clean. The bed was comfy, towels fluffy and the shower was warm.
I skipped breakfast, I had somewhere I needed to be, but it looked and smelled good, much better than other hotels I've stayed at lately.
I would absolutely recommend staying for a night or two, but not sure how I'd fare over a longer stay.
