Affordable, comfortable older motel

We stayed at Ace on the way to Victoria and then again on the way back. It’s an old, but comfortable motel. Nothing fancy, but affordable. The people at the desk were very friendly and efficient and remembered us when we returned 3 weeks later.

Don't stay here!

The mattress is so old, it was sloping inward. By morning, my left side of body was in complete agony, could barely walk. Guessimg that when i finally fell asleep, i twisted the wrong way into the matress. Checked matteess in morning and the owners had put a foamy over it to cover its deterioration. Now on painkillers! Front office lady was nice though.

Room wasn't clean when we got there, we had to edit for it. Then when it was ready the keys wouldn't work to get in. There were dead bugs and hair on the bathroom floor and hair and dirt in the bed. We asked to switch rooms. We got the keys and went to go to it. The door was wide open to the outside. The room smelled so sour and was dirty again. Only good thing was we got out money back.
