Hotel did not respond to three messages 48 hours before for late check in as they have to email door code. All calls went to voice mail with no one returning calls. Had to call Hotels.com who said “not to worry”. Finally was lucky to get through and have him bill me on the credit card with Hotels.com. Only then he sent me the door code. Otherwise I would have been stuck outside arriving at 11 pm. When I spoke to him next day, he had no remorse or sympathy. He just said “you would not have been able to check in”. The desk is manned only from 3-7 pm. The emergency phone number was never answered, tried 9 times. I wanted to check out at 9 am and leave bags to be collected later in the afternoon. No one showed up in the morning. Cleaning lady came at 10.57 am and I waited at the counter until then. My ticket to visit a tourist attraction was wasted due to the delay. Again when I talked to the guy in the afternoon, he didn’t feel sorry. He said “he had important personal matters to attend and no time to answer phone calls”.

It was a quaint place. The shared bathroom situation was better than expected. An HVAC unit inside room would have been appreciated or perhaps a quiet fan that moved more air than the fan we had. I would recommend to my friends and family and rebook if I ever return.

The picture of the rooms were not the same as the rooms that I saw when maids were cleaning the rooms. Half of the rooms had no windows for natural light. Coffee and tea were great. Shower was good. Carpet was stained in common areas. Overall hotel was fine for short stay.

Good location and very service minded staff! But room was very cramped, with a even smaller bathroom/shower. Did not correspond very well with the room photos shown on the web. Very noisy toilet (vacuum), also from the neighboring rooms. Also a minus that they don't serve breakfast. Room did not match pictures. The pictures look like a completly different property. String smell in our room of stinky feet or sewage. Had to keep window open, but we were at ground level, privacy was difficult.

This is a very basic experience. The advertised queen bed was in fact two narrow single beds with a gap in the middle. Shampoo/shower gel in a plastic bottle on the floor of the shower. The toilet flushing was some sort of vacuum suction that was very loud, felt like I was on a boat. When checking in I brought up the bed situation, asking whether they had a room with the advertised bed. They took no responsibility for the incorrect information at all, stating "I just work here" and there was nothing to be done. Ventilation was poor, the window was locked shut.

This was not the place for me. It’s conveniently located right in old town, and the bridges, so you can get to all the hot spots on foot. But no windows. Extremely small room (ie no room for luggage or to even walk around the bed). It’s a very old building so plumbing challenges. And lots of stairs. If you’re looking for something eclectic, this may be for you. But this place did not add any joy to my time in Stockholm. (Also I was emailed the wrong code to get into the building and when I mentioned this to the front all she said was the right code. No apologies for me being stuck outside at night).

Sköna sängar, platt och ojämn låg kudde. Spindel runt lampan. Ventilationen avstängd på kvällen och natten så väldigt varmt och instängt. Svårt justera persienner om man är kort, persienn vred korta. Läckte ut vatten från duschen på badrumsgolvet. Ljud från bilar på gatan utanför nattetid.
