I do not typically like to stay at hotels with the entrance directly to the outdoors. This little hotel was definitely old, but clean enough. The staff took pride in the hotel and caring for it. The staff were also very nice and helpful. We appreciated all the help they gave us! Many times we could smell strong cigarette smoke from others smoking close to the building.

It's a family business, everybody was very friendly and approachable, we had lovely chats at check-in and check-out. The rooms are very clean and well-maintained. We will definitely recommend it to our friends doing a similar tour passing through Salina.

From the moment I arrived I felt welcome. Sean checked me in and was friendly and informative. Everything was nice and clean and for breakfast Mom's Cafe was right across the street! I would recommend highly.
