The Nomi Resort is a resort, not a "hotel" theme. You are left to your own time, and privacy which was appreciated. The issues I did have was one staff member in particular. I had called the resort late afternoon to advise them we would not be there until 930-1000 p.m.. She was not receptive at all, to the phone call, to the time of our arrival, as the front desk was essentially not staffed at that time. Later the next day, I noticed they had sent me an email concerned that we were not there at 3p.m. to check in. Firstly, we had reserved this resort more than a month ago. A phone call would have been more appropriate. Upon our arrival, the staff was very rushed, in a hurry to do the paperwork, show me the room, as if it were an inconvenience that we had arrived at 10 p.m.. When we checked out on the second day, I commented it was a beautiful place, very serene and that we would come back. She said great, but please be here closer to 3p.m. as that is our preferred check in time. I certainly did not appreciate that. Other than that particular staff member, we were very happy with the accommodations.
