Highly recommended with great vibe

Great base in Stockholm as part of a longer trip that allowed us to “recharge our batteries”, do our laundry etc. we ate dinner one night and had breakfast there and the food, service and general vibe were all really good. There are also options nearby for eating and drinking (and a great bakery up the road!) Highly recommended!

Room was well designed and all fixtures and fittings worked well. Small things like plenty hooks on walls appreciated. Chairs unupholstered and not very comfy Room not cleaned when we left 'Clean Room' tab on door. Recep said we should have asked thru recep. B'fast great and in-house Bistro also.

The location was perfect, close to great restaurants, walkable grocery shops and tourist spots. The room is spacious enough for us, bed is comfortable though enough for a single person per bed, fresh towels daily. I would love to stay here again once I get back to Stockholm!

Dear Generator Team, I’m writing to share some feedback from my recent stay. The night before an important business meeting, I spoke with the front desk and was assured that I could use an iron in the laundry room the following morning. I also called in advance to confirm this. However, when I went to the laundry room the next morning, there was no iron available. This caused a major inconvenience, as I was unable to iron my clothes before my meeting and had to attend looking unprofessional. Given the nature of my visit, this was particularly disappointing. I value clear and accurate communication, especially when it concerns essential amenities. I hope steps can be taken to ensure other guests don’t experience a similar issue in the future. I booked this place due to it's location as there were not many choices available. As there were 6 of us and we like staying together, we booked the room for six. We came from living in houses with space so we found the room is extremely small for the six of us that we need to adjust to accommodate everybody. Luckily everybody was accommodating and has high spirit and we had a good stay for 5 days. It would be good if Generator hv spacious room for six and they can charge higher price and i will still go for it. We had great experience in other hostel chain like the Meininger in a few European cities where the room for six combined queen bed with bunk beds and is spacious and comfortable. We also felt that the staffs in the restaurants was not helpful and not friendly to us foreigner. During check-in the staff told us they could help heating up our food if require, so we went to buy cinnamon roll which is typical food in Sweden to try. But the staff at the breakfast told us they do not help heating up food from outside so it means we could not eat the cinnamon rolls that we would like to have a taste. Worth mention that during our stay at Grand Hansa Helsinki a week before we came to Stockholm, which is a 5 stars hotel, i overheard the reception told a guest he can help heating up their food at the staff pantry and it will only takes 10 minutes and he can then deliver the food to their room.

Dålig service. Platta kuddar där man fick köpa extra kudde. Frukost fick man köpa till (ej buffe) och det va extra dyrt att köpa samma morgon. Tex. 1st liten korvmacka utan dryck för 139kr Dålig ventilation och rummet luktade avlopp. Toaborste full med avföring. Blir inget återbesök.
