Ok for a one night stay

A bit difficult with the lack of English here. The couldn’t find our reservation to get through the entrance gate (while in our uber). There was no explanation about any amenities on check in (no communication except us filling out a form with passport info, which was in English). The view from the pool area was lovely. Most areas seem to need upgrades (pool decomposition in areas and tiles, the rooms are very dated). Drinks were not too overpriced. Overall, ok for a quick one night stay before leaving for the airport at 3am.

The property is around the corner of the Historic Center, a beautiful place that must be visited. NEGATIVE ABOUT THE HOTEL: there is a R$4.00 reais fee charged for each tower one takes to use in the pool area. This service should not be charged and if so, it should be told at the check in and shown at the Expedia reservation page. The staff at the front desk are impolite and need to be better trained for problem solve. If you complain about anything, the become upset. The towers for the bed rooms are old and uncomfortable. There is no shower cap.

Nossa primeira impressão, na recepção não fomos mal atendidos mas não houve simpatia dos atendentes! Na parte dos restaurante os garçons foram gentis. Quanto ao café da manhã, por ser servido em um salão fechado com ar condicionado, os bolos e pães ficam ressecados. O hotel parece ser velho. Tivemos que limpar o chuveiro pois ia água por tudo, a torneira da pia vazava de deixava toda a bancada molhada, e molhava tudo q deixávamos na pia. A cama era boa. A vista do hotel é privilegiada.
