Pleasant stay in classic motel

We booked this motel at the last moment because it was the only available pet-friendly place in Ballarat. We were very pleased with the experience. The reception was welcoming, the location handy on the main road into town (but quiet). The room was clean and well-supplied, with modern TV, fridge, microwave, and plenty of fresh bedding and towels. We'd definitely stay here again.

2 night stay, staff helpful. Rooms large enough for 2adults and 2 kids. Not much practical space for tea and coffee making, no tea towel available so had to use a bath towel. Net curtains on Windows very grubby, carpet had quite a few large old stains, so a makeover would help, but staff were friendly and helpful when contacted, parking was available right outside our room.
