Stayed in the modern room and it was really nice and clean. Air conditioner in the room didn't seem to work when we stayed - it got really hot at night. Awesome location, great new room! Excellent bathroom and laundry facility in level 6 is handy. One big issue though is request that your room is NOT on the 6th floor as the noise from the bowling alley directly beneath is very loud and goes very late into the evening (midnight in our case).

Had a good stay at Hotel Arban. Easy to locate, short walk to Seomyeon metro and many buses. Walkable area with lots of street food and restaurants. Room was clean, bed comfortable, temperature nicely adjustable to set lower (not always possible in hotels in winter!). Minor problem with foul smell coming from drains in bathroom but running water for a few minutes and bathroom fan helped to clear. Also breakfast was very basic and a bit disappointing. Stayed 3 nights, only had breakfast once. Ignored other 2 days and went out to find good coffee and food. Still, good value for money to stay here.

Nice room, but loud noises until 2am

We paid extra for the modern, renovated rooms on the 6th floor. However, in addition to the modern rooms, we also got endless loud noises until 2am. Turns out that there is a bowling alley right under on the 5th floor and they're open until 2am every night, even weekdays. Good luck if you're trying to get some decent sleep.
