I think this is my 10th stay at Motel One, and not my last. For me, mostly travelling alone it is perfect, a good bed, clean bathroom, and a very good breakfast. Love the turquoise heartshaped sweets and the dog in reception. Motel One is situated ringht in the heart of the city center, only a few minutes from everything, etc train station, metro, Theatre Royal, galleries, shopping, restaurants, bar and pubs. Highly recommanded place to stay

The hotel is lovely but the breakfast is expensive for what you get. It’s also not organised very well so while I would stay again, I wouldn’t add on the breakfast.

Great value hotel in a very central (but quiet) location just off Grey Street. I ahve stayed her 4 tims but in this occasion the room was far too hot, even with the window open, and there seemed to be no way to turn the heat down

Best price for an AMAZING modern in-the-city stay!

Loved how close it was the in city centre, the town was just around the corner with many food places to try. Although the room was small, it was just right for two people. The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds we’ve slept on and regret not trying the breakfast bar as it looked amazing when we were walking past. The communal space downstairs looked very modern and relaxing to sit and enjoy a drink. Would definitely stay here again!

Brilliant Motel!

One of the nicest places we've stayed in Newcastle and the location was first class especially for the Theatre Royal & the Bigg Market. Receptionist 'Chloe' was very friendly and welcoming! Room was brill (Room 532), nice King Size bed, Aircon fantastic and everything else brill for an Overnight stay. Happily go back again for the price
