Tropical temperatur, and no AC. There was also some noice in the night. If there is a next time I will not choose tent. Both the stay and everyting you needed to buy was expencive.

The place is huge and is nice to relax and enjoy with small kids once you are at the water park. Although there are not many rides but the kids play area is nice and the artificial beach effect is also great, the pools and jacuzzis are good too. The family rooms Ohana are nice and clean but very far from the resort, not just far but they have made the access confusing kind of on purpose! There are no signs and it feels like a maze game to find your room, its not fun when you have small kids and luggage with you, the lifts are non existent and we had to drag or lift the baby stroller every time on the stairs, there is no houskeeping to provide extra amenities when finished. The staff at the check that attended us were very rude and non cooperative, the girl and woman kept on answering in German to the inquiries in English. No one answers the phone at reception, we were told to come again next morning to collect extra towels and soaps( its atkeast 15/20min walk from our room including and down the stairs) The place is nice but the management is very very weak.

Well, first the front desk person didn't give us a key. So I had to walk all the way back to reception to get the key. Then we noticed that there was no electricity in the room, so I had to walk back again. They told us to switch rooms and gave us the key to the next place. The last thing was that the hair dryer didn't work. Staff wasn't very accommodating or sorry for the multiple inconveniences. Water park was amazing as usual and breakfast was delicious.

Terrible experience

It was a very bad experience at every stage. We waited in line for a long time at the entrance. We were not informed enough about the facility. We had difficulty finding the room we would stay in. The luggage cabinets were too small, our luggage did not fit. When we entered the room, there were a few belongings of previous guests and no towels in the room. We talked about the situation, but 2 hours later the problem was still not solved. Finally, I went to the reception, which was very far from our room, and by speaking to another disinterested, sullen employee, we were able to get 4 small hand towels. We were literally disgraced in a place where we paid a lot of money to stay. The pools were mediocre, it was difficult to find empty sunbeds, food and drink were mediocre. You feel cold after getting out of the pool, the temperature is not enough. The radiators in the corridor as we entered the room were not working and it was very cold. We asked for a taxi at the check-out and they gave us a small piece of paper with 4 mobile phone numbers written on it. We searched and struggled to find a driver. It wasn't a holiday, it was a nightmare. I will never go there again. I also don't recommend it to anyone.

Fint ophold

Fint ophold, værelset var rent. Og toiletterne var fine. Omklædning med bad, var lidt rodet at finde rundt i, men det gik, dog var vandet i bruserne koldt. Vi nød vores ophold. Morgenmaden var fin, der var lidt for enhver. Aftenbuffeten var dyr og drikkevarer var ikke inkluderet. Husk klipklappere/badesandaler.. mad og drikke er dyrt derinde, og det kan godt betale sig at købe en refill kop om morgenen, så man kan flyde den hele dagen, selvom det koster 19 euro og der skal gå 45 min imellem refill. Vi havde 2 dage og det var helt fint, vi kunne godt finde på at tage en tur igen på et tidspunkt..

Vi hadde to fine dager på Tropical Island. Rommet var av god størrelse. Frokosten var bra, men en del kø på grunn av uhensiktsmessige løsninger på buffet og juicestasjoner. Gode betalingsløsninger som gjør at du ikke trenger å ha med lommebok - praktisk når man skal bade hele dagen. Kunne med fordel vært opplyst om at hotellet ligger rett ved domen, dette var vanskelig å forstå ut ifra både Hotels og hotellets nettsider.

Dårlig oplevelse

Syndes allerede fra start vi manglede en masse informationer... vi fik stukket et kort i hånden og måtte selv finde ud af hvor vi skulle bo, parkering, morgenmad ja alt!!! Kom til et værelse der manglede sengetøj/ rengøring og syndes der blev lukket alt for mange dagsgæster ind så der ikke rigtig var liggestole/ plads til de gæster der boede der, og så manglede vi noget ordentlig mad som ikke var fastfood og ikke kostede så vanvittig meget for små børneportioner!!!!!! Hvis vi kommer igen bliver det i en hytte hvor vi selv kan lave noget mad og som ikke er så dyrt som inde i tropical island...
