The hotel has been remodelled and is very nice. The "cabin" decor is just what I like. I loved the fact that my room had a wood stove smell to it, and the little "fireplace" was nice. Hotel should have some recycle bins. There were none anywhere. Breakfast was OK, but not fantastic. Eggs were crusty on top as they had been there a while.

The desk clerk went out of his way to make sure we got a room. We were very tired and had only cash and no credit card. He explained that we could use our debit card to reserve online. Im not very good at doing things like that so he took my phone and did it for me. Extremely helpful.

The rooms are tiny but clean. I suggest bringing your own pillow if you can. They're old and chunky. Bed was comfortable. Friendly staff. Decent breakfast. Some of the rooms don't have windows, so I suggest specifically asking for a window if you want one.
