Hotel was clean & being updated. Sadly, the room painting job was very sloppy and dripped on many surfaces. That detracted from the other improvements.

Walked in the room and there was a box fan running on the floor, it had a weird stench in the room, the walls were peeling and hanging down, toilet had troubles flushing

There was no one at the desk but they came quickly when we buzzed. There were long black hairs under the covers of the bed and my daughter had a flea crawling on her after spending a few mins laying on it. We are blond and have no pets. Breakfast was a few dry slices of bread, bagels or stale cereal. Would not recommend - only slightly better than sleeping in a van down by the river.

Clean nice hotel

My daughter and I were comfortable in our 2 night stay here. We don't need top-of-the-line accommodations or decor. But we don't want wallpaper hanging off the wall, stained carpet, or chipped furniture. That wasnt the case here. It was clean, comfortable, good repair, good shower, good heating/AC, and continental breakfast with those wonderful do-it-yourself waffles! Good value.

I have several photos of damaged throughout the room. The heater vent was filthy and when the heat was operating, it produced a very unpleasant odor. The owner took a screen shot of my credit card information with his personal phone. They were nice folks. However, their way of operating is very archaic.
