This was a rustic feeling lodge. The staff were super friendly. The entire site was very clean and maintained. We had a very relaxing stay with one of the best continental breakfasts we've had from a hotel. Our family would highly recomend this as a must stay place in Russell!

Stay in Russel, not Hays

Actual home cooked breakfast options vs cereal, day old bagels and unripe fruit. There was homemade cinnamon rolls, breakfast scramble with fresh eggs, ham, bacon and sausage with cheese. Homemade biscuits and gravy, waffles and fresh orange juice. The rates are very fair and rooms were nice.

This hotel is a great value for the money. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Great staff and breakfast! The thing that I was most mostly disappointed with was the door in the room. NOT very secure!
