Will stay there again in the near future. Better than the big chains, staff was awesome, rooms are awesome. And the bed was perfect. Quite and peaceful all night.
Allen, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

The room was small and quaint, better fit for one person. There was a family reunion in town and they got there first. The second night we were upgraded to a cabin which was great, spacious comfortable, large bath and a short walk to breakfast. Enjoyed our stay.
Donald Craig, 2-night trip

It is an old historic hotel. Enjoyed the history around it.

This was the cutest little hotel. Really felt quaint and unique. We loved it!

Historic hotel in historic district

Virginia city was an awesoystep in the past. The hotel is on main street in the middle of everything. Ronnie the hotel manager made it special for all guests. Because the hotel is old, the floors creaked and rooms were small. Everything else was excellent.
Katherine, 1-night trip

The cabin was delightful. Charming and relaxing, with everything we needed. It was within walking distance of a wonderful breakfast place. We'd stay here again

A very cool place to stay. The unique rooms were quaint and comfortable. The shared bathrooms and shower were kind of fun to experience The staff was awesome. Big shout outs to Ronie and Patti behind the desk. They were terrific!
James, 1-night trip

Our rooms each turned out to be an entire small cabin, with bedroom and bathroom. What a fun surprise!
Carol, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

No ice maker; mattress was awful. Some of the lights in the room didn’t work. Loved the historical info and period furniture. Parking was great.
David, 1-night trip

This was the best place to stop. The room was bigger than expected. So peaceful and quiet atmosphere. Then you wake up and walk to The Star Bakery & Restaurant next door. I wish I could take all the bakery goodies home.
Danielle, 1-night trip

The property is decorated with antiques and old theme. Very nicely done, a great balcony where 14 of us had Happy Hour with no space problem.
Patricia, 1-night trip

This is very extraordinary. We visited Nevada City and decided to stay in a cabin of this hotel that is located in Virginia City - but the cabins are right next to the old museums town of Nevada City. So, you drive one mile back and get an authentic cabin of the settlers (but with modern elements like power, AC, hot water, etc). We travelled with young teens and they thought we making a joke but the liked it as well. For dinner, it is just a mile to Virginia City, for breakfast you have a great option in Nevada City. Overall, this was a great experience and worth the stop.

No T.V. and forced relaxation! It was amazing!
