Room was a nice size, wonderful view, comfortable chairs to look out the window to look at the view. Great selection for breakfast ranging from light fare to full cooked breakfast. We broke up our journey to Skye by staying here for the night. We had evening meal snd breakfast which were both excellent. The staff were very friendly and the room was very comfortable. We did book a double room but were given a twin but no big deal,the beds were very comfy so we didn’t mention it

Civilisation in a rural setting

This was a very nice overnight stay. The room was very small with the bathroom in a cupboard, but it all worked. The staff were very pleasant. Parking was across the road, but you could use the space in front of the hotel to unload and repack the car. The meals were good.

Hotel is older in need of repairs. Sheets not that clean, no extra blankets available and wall paper peeling off. Staff was nice, only hotel in area, restaurant was fair but overpriced.

The staff at the hotel were so friendly and welcoming to my dog. Although the decor in the room is older and basic the standard of cleanliness was impressive and made me so comfortable. It’s such a shame the current economic climate seems to have caused the hotel to close during lunch time as the bar is so pleasant it would have been lovely to stay for a little while. I’d recommend the hotel to anyone and will definitely return. To stress, the friendliness and cleanliness are so impressive!

Clean and available.

We got allocated a room backing onto the railway line overlooking the kitchens. Room a good size. 2 chairs and a small table. Iron and board. Newly fitted bathroom with shower. Dining area cold - no radiators and only one log burner on. Cooked breakfast excellent. Poor choice of fruit - no choice really beyond a meagre fruit salad. No yoghurt or cakes etc. Poor quality bread. However a comfortable choice for one night.
