Had to ring reception for them to reset the router, not ideal. Still only 1 English tv channel, BBC news 24. In this day and age of streaming tv, more channel choice should be a no brainer

Lively Shinjuku

The location was the best situation. Check in was at 3 pm which is very strict (no early check in), but you can hold your baggage at the front desk if you come early. We had a double bed room, which is quite cramped for us. But this is the reality of space in area hotels (as I have experienced in prior trips). However, you can’t beat the location! You will be near the heart of Shinjuku so, some live music may be wafting in late through the night (ear plugs recommended if you are a light sleeper).

Room was tiny, but I think that’s common in Japan. It was very quiet. It was the cleanest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. Plenty of comfort accessories. Great maid service. Location was perfect for us. Staff were very accommodating.
