4 night stay

Very good value. Entertainment excellent. Staff very polite and friendly. The only reason rated lower is requested a shower on booking unable to get in bath otherwise would have been higher rating also rooms very clean but very outdated but didnt bother us because always out and about.

Cheap bit good value

Cheap and cheerful. Value for money when you think half board and entertainment included. Chalets are tired, although ours had a relatively new bsthroom, and new carpet in bedroom. Bed linen was very clean.

Great venue

Really enjoyed my overnight stay in Sandbay. Close to Western Supermare, can hop on a bus and spend time there however there is plenty of entertainment on site also a swimming pool, dart boards and 2x snooker tables. The only downside it's a card only venue but take some cash for vending machine and bingo in the evening cash only.

First time I have ever paid for half board and after my stay at Sand Bay village I will be going half board all the time now, food was absolutely fabulous. The entertainment was amazing and all catered for adults.

Lovely stay , breakfast, evening meal clean bedding and towels , entertainment, all for a very good price. I don’t know how people can complain for the cost it’s a great bargain. But if you don’t like it don’t go again. Our next stay in December will be our 4th stay, love the place and the friendly staff x

Excellent value for money

I was blown away at the value for money. Not only did we get a clean and tidy room, but our breakfast, dinner, use of a swimming pool, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. Not to mention all of the entertainment for £70, and that was for 2 of us!!! Other than the lack of a full length mirror and a blind or curtain on the (frosted) window of the bathroom, the room was ideal. On arrival we couldn't shut the bathroom window, but the maintenance man came straight down and sorted it. The pool area was newly decorated and clean. The choice of food at breakfast and dinner was more than enough to suit anyone and the bar prices were reasonable. All of the staff were friendly and polite. I spoke to several holidaymakers and most of them were repeat visitors. I don't have a bad word to say about this place and will definitely be returning.

Great stay

Had a great 3 days away, room was clean and apt for what we needed, however the bed was just awful,i felt every spring in that mattress, needs new beds definitely, The food was excellent and lots of variety, The lady that checked us in was an absolutely lovely lady, helpful, polite, smiley We were due to change our wristbands on monday but the lady had already gave us them, just needed to collect programme, meet someone completely different, frosty, blunt and very as a matter of fact, not very good for front of house to be greet with a miserable person
Suzanne, 3-night trip

Just a little bit of TLC would make such a difference, like the bathroom light and window ledge covered in dust , outside cups and newspaper left to get wet . It’s a beautiful site and I don’t know how they provide everything they do for the price, clean bed linen and towels, choice of lovely food and entertainment, it’s a real bargain.

A great music weekend

The room was reasonably clean but the furniture a bit tired looking. They provided a quilt over the mattress which made the bed very comfortable. There was a good choice of food, which was hot, but the queues could be a bit long to serve yourself. The desserts were a bit dry but there was cream to put on it.The staff are pleasant and helpful. The entertainment was very good and made the holiday very enjoyable. The surrounding area is lovely.

Staff are always great big thank you to Ann & Jackie . If you are expecting the Ritz you will be disappointed . But if you want great value for money it's the place for you . We have been going back for twenty years and so have thousands of others . We can't all be wrong .
Gillian, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

The old saying is you get what you pay for, the site is very dated but clean no signs of litter. On the negative side My accommodation wasn't very clean, beds was like sleeping on a sack of potatoes, and very small. Positive side value for money, food very good, entertainment good , drinks reasonably priced, would I stay again? Yes I would, after speaking to other people who have stayed many times before they gave handy tips toake things more comfortable etc. Please note Site is definitely over 60's
Paul, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

Food and entertainment very good but the sleeping room left a lot to be desired no where to sit only on the bed (not the best) the bath room with a bath no shower considering the amount of pensioners and disabled people on site, change the bath for a shower with a seat giving more space to put in a chairs Blue coats poor standard probably due to the company cutting costs for more profits Except for the room we enjoyed our holiday
