10/10 Exceptional

For what we had to do in Whitehorse this place was great. The building was Klondike looking and it was close to all the stores in town. Very convienient with a laundromat attached as well!

Decent hotel in a frontier town.

8/10 Very good

Ok place, but not great

All the rules made nervous about why.
Kim, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The shower in our room was broken, but front desk staff was extremely apologetic and was able to switch us to a different room. Besides that, everything else was fine

10/10 Exceptional

For the price, compared to other places in Whitehorse, the destination family hotel is a spectacular bargain. More than that, it's not a bad place to stay quality wise. You're not going to get four star accommodations, but compared to what you spend, I believe that the property more than excels.

2/10 Poor

Pillow case verry bad smill.shower curtain so smiley tv no good i try to call change my Pillow case..and coffee so dirty i stay 2 nights
Annalyn sm, 2-night trip

Unfortunately bad

The staff was friendly, but the entire building smelled bad. The room was not clean. When I looked under the bed as I retrieved something there was piles of dirt underneath it. It was a very depressing place.

2/10 Poor

The entire hotel smelled like spicy India food and every door and drawer in the room was stuck shut. Very sticky and dirty
Milt, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Almost 5 stars

Great room, very clean. I had to make the comfort 4 stars because they do not use a fitted sheet on the mattress. They use a flat sheet and it barely tucks. I wrestled keeping it in place all night long.
Connie, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

It's nothing to write home about, but it's OK.

Many people gave this place a bad review. Does it show its age, yes. Are there some well aged or broken items in the room, yes. Is it a dump, no. We would stay there again, yes...
Stephen, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Staff was excellent

Don’t go to this hotel

Room was very smal and had no room to move around, bed was hard as a rock, the sheets didn’t fit the King bed which was really to twin mattress put together.
John, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

The hotel is in a rather rough part of town. No hair dryer. No clock and limited power outlets. The beds were adequate and the price was lower than most others in the area but I probably would not stay there again.
Erik, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Disgusting

Property was trashy- worst place I have ever stayed in. Stinky like cat pee - sketchy place and I would never recommend this to anyone. Sheets were stained and I felt so dirty being in the room.
Terri, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Property was old, stuff looked broken, our room looked like a basement.
Chris, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Beware and book elsewhere.

Bring house shoes if you plan on staying here. The property is run down, outdated, and only superficially cleaned at best. The front desk attendant seemed far more interested in her phone conversation than in welcoming my family. I would never have booked this hotel had I known what to expect. Upon check-in, we were met with at least 15 posted rules that made it clear the hotel is often used for drugs, parties, and late-night activity. Outside, a sign even read “staff carry guns” — unsettling, to say the least. The parking lot foot traffic made us uneasy about even leaving our vehicle there. Save yourself the stress and spend the extra $10–$20 to stay somewhere else. Beware.

2/10 Poor

The room was filthy! The bedding was dirty and covered in dark hair. The bathroom was not properly cleaned. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone
Nail polish on the fridge door. We did not open it
Curtains didn't close. No screen in the window with no air conditioner. The whole bldg had a horrid smell
Lenore, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

The property is in town but the beds and coffee station utensils were dirty. We left got a refund.
Kelly, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

The property did not feel safe. I was barely inside at the reception and an intoxicated person leaned over my shoulder and started talking. Others went inside and took the elevator0q
Jack, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

The room features a 1978 decor and everything is broken, everything is soiled, stains of sperm, blood, and cigarette burns in the bed, hair and body hair, stains on the walls, dangerous neighberhood.
simon, 3-night trip

2/10 Poor

Dirty

Used towels, unclean tables and microwave. I asked for a new clean room and the front desk looked me like I had four heads. After an unsatisfactory conversation with her, I went out and bought cleaning supplies, and brought in some of my own scrappy clothes for sleep. (If I had room in my car I would have stayed in the car instead.) Cleaned for an hour. Felt marginally better about life. Exhausted so fell asleep on the visibly dirty sheets. Woke up with a massive eye infection. Never staying here again.
