The owners were very friendly when we checked in. The property was clean and close to local shopping and dining. We rented the family room and had a full kitchen and 3 queen sized beds in seperatrd rooms. It was perfect for our family of 6.

So much fun staying in a place with so much history. Very friendly staff. Would have been nice to have a couple of sitting chairs in our room, but no biggy.

This hotel has a lot of character. Rosie gave us good recommendations about places to eat that were open on Sunday as well as a tip about seeing Devil’s Kitchen

Staying in history.

Our stay was great. The hotel was really awesome. It’s an old historic hotel in a small town. We had a great time. The owners were awesome and even showed me around the old prohibition era speakeasy in the basement. The bonus was that they had coffee and a light breakfast available as well.

Pre teen grandsons thought the hotel was very cool, nice eclectic mix decor. Nice kitchen facility for making meals. Slept 3 adults, 3 kids comfortably. It is in middle of town. Would recommend a stay if you get a chance!!

Historical it is delightful

It was a terrific place. Totally historical. We shared a toilet with four other rooms yet had a shower in the room, along with mini fridge, large t.v. and wifi. Beds very comfortable. People the nicest.

We enjoyed the "historic" part of the hotel as well as the modern bathroom facilities. The rooms upstairs have shared toilets. We upgraded to a room with a door off the street rather than upstairs.

This was a cute and eclectic place to stay. It felt like you were taking a step back in time but with all the amenities you like. Check in was easy and quick. The receptionist was kind and helpful. Check out was easy as well. There is a light breakfast provided in the morning. Overall great place to stay for the price.

Check-in was quick and efficient. The person who checked us in was very pleasant and welcoming. Authentic historic hotel. Room is very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Included a refrigerator. Wifi, television. Room what's decorated nicely with period furniture.

8/10 Very good

We had a large family room with a kitchen. The hotel is historic, but very complete. You have everything you need, also cooking was easy. The children slept well in their rooms. We had a room near the entrance, the bed was good, but unfortunetaly we had a lot of noice from the people entering the building (around 23pm, midnight and even 1am).
Davy, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The hotel is historic, which means it is an old building. But the bed was comfortable the room was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. There are several places to eat within a few blocks. The parking is on the street. If you like quaint places this might be right up your alley. Just don't expect it to be something it is not.

An historic experience

It's an experience to stay here. I love the history and the charm, all with modern conveniences. My room was very comfortable and clean and I felt safe. Of course, old buildings creak, and it adds to the charm. Miles, who checked me in, was very helpful and friendly. The toilet may be shared, but the room had a sink and shower. If they can get the women's toilet door to stop squeeking, that would be a great improvement. The continental breakfast was all I needed: hardboiled egg, banana bread, orange juice and coffee. Cereal and toast were available. Yes, I would stay here again
