Amazing hotel. Gorgeous location near the cloud forest parks with access to some short hiking trails on site and a relaxing hammock garden. Our room was spotless and well equipped with bar fridge and nice furniture. Very nice clean bathroom. Staff were very friendly and the restaurant was fabulous. The included buffet breakfast was wonderful.

There was so much charm in this hotel! If you are a nature enthusiast and actually care about it this is the place you’d enjoy and you’d want to come back like I do! All the food is organic and grow in-house. The view is spectacular and there is a big hike in this property

Valle Escondido was absolutely perfect and one of the highlights of our entire Costa Rica trip. The property is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by lush cloud forest with walking paths right outside your door. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and felt like a true retreat in nature. The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind, always happy to help with anything we needed. Breakfast was delicious, and we loved being able to walk the grounds, see wildlife, and truly unwind. It’s rare to find a place that feels both relaxing and special, but Valle Escondido delivered in every way. We would return in a heartbeat and recommend it without hesitation.
