Great location if you are driving, near the main road and with free parking. Good service and a nice hotel. The shower at the hotel is very good. The breakfast is free and a plus, but not with the best selection.

Check in time is late, spacious quadroom

Good value but check in time is really late at 4pm. We didn't know about that (our fault as stated in the booking site but didn't pay attention to it). Arrived at the hotel close to 3pm (which is the check in time for almost everywhere else in Iceland) but was told the room is not ready. So we waited at the lounge and even close to 4pm, it was still not ready. The receptionist had to go to the room to check. Then it was ready. Not sure if this is a case of the cleaners not updating the system about the readiness of the room or they are really cleaning it up till the very last minute. Otherwise, room is decent and spacious. Breakfast is fairly standard.
