The restaurant served delicious food. There’s a small general store and gift shop. The grounds were well maintained and the cabins were adorable and comfortable. They provided a pack n play for our smaller child which was incredibly convenient!

Small, but very adequate room in A-frame on grounds of Buffalo Bill's lodge just outside east gate of Yellowstone. Restaurant served well-made homestyle food; bar served a properly made Old-Fashioned.

Perfect to end a 10 day trip

Perfect stay!!! Cute set-up from the tepee. Bed comfortable. Shower hot. Coffee maker in the room. Breakfast great and good price. 2 miles to East entrance of YNP. Sitting outside soaking in the sunset, watching a buffalo, 2 Grizzlies and an elk walking right by our tepee, and that, 2 days before our end of the trip. We highly recommend this place. So convenient to the entrance. Friendly and welcoming staff, great souvenir shop and wonderful restaurant. Downsize no TV and wifi, but that's all good, if you got wildlife coming right through, while you sit in the front row. We loved it.

We LOVED our stay and the Tepee Resort. The staff was incredible and friendly. Sam the host in the dining area was always smiling and makes great latte's. Ryan the server in the dining room was fast, friendly and had amazing recommendations. The Hot Cocoa was to die for, the chicken marsala was incredible and the huckleberry lemonade is an adult beverage worth trying. This was our favorite place to stay!
Lindsay, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Right outside Yellowstone Park, reasonable rate and dining facilities were good.
Aletha, 1-night trip

Lovely spot for watching Buffalo & Bears. The buffalo bill museum was really good. The food in the restaurant was tasty. The negative was no internet other than in the restaurant and no TV in the room.
Neil, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The location is perfect only 5 minutes from the west entrance of Yellowstone park. The place doesn’t have internet in the rooms and no hair-dryer. It’s clean and nice experience.

CLOSEST property to Yellowstone, great history

The closest property I could find to the entrance of Yellowstone, this has the added benefit of historic significance--built on the property around Buffalo Bill Cody's hunting lodge. They warned us to watch carefully for large wildlife as we exit the cabin in the morning and we did have a bison grazing not far from the front door on our second morning. The only drawback I noticed was a lack of A/C so nights were warm and stuffy as we didn't want to open windows and potentially invite any bears in.
Joel, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

The location was great and the room was very clean and beautiful. No cell network in here. I wish they offer WiFi. That was the only negative factor on our one-night stay.
Javad, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Staff was friendly and helpful and we liked having delicious food and drink options on the premises at the restaurant and saloon. Wifi did not work at all in the cabin, and didnt really work at the lodge either.
Rachel, 2-night trip

I loved it and the restaurant had amazing food and staff were very friendly and helpful

Close to East Entrance

This teepee resort is made up of log cabins and a short 30 min drive from the Yellowstone East Entrance. They have an excellent restaurant and gift shop on site. They do offer wifi at the main building only but it is understandably very weak. Please note the area around the resort is still wild and we saw a couple bears on the side of the road to the resort!

We loved the cabins and the location. The east entrance of Yellowstone was beautiful!
Hannah, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

We stayed in one of the A-frames that was divided into four separate rentals. The walls were so thin we could hear the man in the next room using the bathroom. Our waitress at the restaurant for breakfast was very rude to us. We walked in and seated ourself. She informed us that we were not allowed to see ourselves (even though there was not a sign that said, “please wait to be seated” at the door we entered through). She said she would have to get permission before she even took our order. It was very uncomfortable. The food was good though.
Virgil, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

It was very quiet, and the staff was friendly! There was a bison hanging out on the property during our 2 night stay. We would stay there again!!
