It is an old hotel, but fairly newly remodeled on the inside--ceramic tile floors & shower, quartz counters. It was clean and a good value for the money. There is no lobby, just a check-in desk, not too much in the area. It met our needs as we were visiting friends and only needed a clean place to sleep at a reasonable price.

Booked a one night stay. Budget Inn Lake Wales is located in a quiet area. Gentleman at the front desk was very polite and helpful. This is an older, smaller (20 room?) hotel. Room 105 had been repainted/remodeled. The outlets next to the beds had USB outlets, which I find incredibly convenient. This Budget Inn was much better than expected. There are may restaurants within a mile as well. I would stay here again.

This is average. They've upgraded some of it and it's better than it obviously used to be. But for the price it's a good choice to use as a stop over for a night while traveling thru. Good enough for one or two nights
