10/10 Exceptional

The hospitality was amazing
Max, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Nice place to stay in Deadwood SD!

The hotel was old of course and there was a sign by the check-in counter that confirmed “paranormal activities”in the hotel. I found that pretty cool. The food was wonderful, the bed so comfy. Will stay there again for sure!

A+ Staff

The front desk staff are very friendly, helpful and they dont mind sharing their own personal ghost experiences from the hotel.

Downtown Deadwood

This is an old historic hotel. As long as that is what your expectation is, it is a fun place to stay
Scott, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Great place, nice piece of history and the room was really nice.
Rick, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Nice old hotel with plenty of local history attached. On main street close to all shops and restaurants. Was there for four nights and in that time the room was not serviced. Could have done with a towel change. This was the only downer.
patrick, 4-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The staff was courteous, informative and professional. The room was clean and quiet. The shower had great water pressure
Susan, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

Our stay was fine. The parking was a bit difficult as it was a block away in a parking ramp and we had quite a bit to carry. Otherwise everything was okay.

MId road trip

We arrived early and, as expected, our room wasn't ready. Unfortunately the hotel has nowhere to store luggage so we had to leave it in our vehicle on a public car park which isn't ideal. At the time of writing, August 2025, the car park is free to guests as the hotel car part is under renovation, Check in was smooth and the room was large and clean. Staying in such an historic hotel while in Deadwood was fantastic.
Graham, 1-night trip

Rooms are old, but it was a very nice room with a comfortable bed.
michael, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Did not want to walk on the carpet with my bare feet, room was dark even with the lights on, view out the window was the back alley.
John, 1-night trip

Perfect location and historic touch to it all

Perfect location and a good historic touch in every inch. But old has also some downsides, like noisy ventilation keeping me awake most of the night, worn out carpets and blinders that are out of function. I am happy to have stayed here, but will probably choose a newer hotel next time
Tore, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

I love the history of the hotel and the staff is always very nice
Eric, 5-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

This is a great historic experience. Rooms are clean and spacious. Convenient to all the action in town. More character than the large hotel chains.
Jeff, 1-night trip

The hotel was historically great! The staff were so friendly! We will definitely be going back but with the whole family!
Stacie, 3-night trip

A great stay for the night. I wish i would've booked a couple of more days. We stayed in the Roosevelt Suite. Yes, we did experience some paranormal activity. Definitely gonna stay there next time we come back up here
Klayton, 1-night trip

Tim was clean

Unique hotel. Staff were nice and helpful. I think we might’ve been charged twice for breakfast tho, but haven’t had a chance to clear that up yet.
