Best value in the area

Don't waste money on the Inn - the Ranch has better options on site, the rooms are bigger and the view is excellent.

Good good good

Everything was just great. The staff were friendly, and it was unique to see the old cars. The bedding was clean, and most of all, I absolutely loved Death Valley itself.

We arrived around 5:30pm to check in. We had a line of 20 people in front of us with only two people at the front desk. When we checked in we asked

Great hub for driving and hiking Death Valley

Our stay at The Ranch was good. Our room was comfortable and quiet, but could have been cleaner. Staff were friendly and efficient. Being so secluded, food options were limited to the hotel's restaurants, which were OK, but fairly expensive. The property is maintained well and is definitely family oriented. For the price paid, the poor wi-fi service (both in room and in most public areas) was very annoying.

Amazing Property with Mediocre Rooms

The property is beautiful. Truly looks like an oasis in the desert. The Rose Tavern, General Store and Ice Cream Parlor were all great. The rooms are in need of a lot of updating. Very much a motel feel and motel quality.

Good room, service was spotty

The alarm clock woke us up in the middle of the night. There is no daily housekeeping. That said, the room was nice, it was ready when we got there and checkin was flawless. Tried to use the text messages to get information about hotel and got no response.

The atmosphere and the friendly staff made our trip quite memorable.

Screaming children

Everything was perfect except the couple next door. Their children were screaming slamming doors We tried to call the front desk but they never answered. We are an older couple that wanted to get a good night sleep This went on both nights. We highly recommend Death Valley.

This is an amazing location and property to stay at; helped get two sunrises with minimal need to wake up in the wee hours :)

The best way to see the National Park.

We lived the Ranch at Furnace Creek. In addition to being inside the park — and near all the must-see spots— there was so much to do for families including swimming, pickle ball and tennis, horseback riding, cycling, and golf! We enjoyed our entire trip while there and would definitely stay again. Next time though, we will book a cottage. They are more private so no noisy neighbors late at night (walls in the rooms are pretty thin) and there’s more space for relaxing after long hikes. While the rooms are near the golf course holes and have pretty nice patios and balconies overlooking the golf course, the privacy of the cottages seem a much nicer upgrade. Either way, there’s so much to love about the Ranch. Enjoy!!!
A great spot

8/10 Very good

The grounds and common areas at the Ranch are lovely, but the rooms could use some updating and are a bit small. One of our queen beds didn’t have room on one side to easily get out of. The outdoor seating area off the room was a plus.

Great spot!

Great location and family friendly Oasis in the desert. Cool great for families and if it's not too hot there's other activities available like tennis and pickleball that would be fun. Will return

Perfect for exploring the park

Excellent, clean stay for exploring the park! All the restaurants and convenience store were a huge bonus. Coffee with a sunrise was the best part

Great location in Death Valley
Guy, 2-night trip

Its ok considering the location

Its in the middle of death valley so I'm aware the conditions will make it hard to keep high standards, but we were disappointed with the very noisy a/c through the night, tiny bugs crawling all over the sideboard and sewer smell in the corridor. My dad had to move rooms as his bathroom smelt so bad. Having said that, the pool is lovely and the buffet dining reasonably priced.

The Ranch

Could not have been happier with our stay! The room was awesome, the grounds just beautiful, and the location perfect for exploring and hiking. Last but not least the food at the Saloon was excellent and the bartender super friendly and helpful.
