Perfect location for our 2 night stay in NOLA. Whilst the room was on the small side it had everything we needed for our stay. Close to restaurants, shopping and Bourbon St. would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at this historic hotel! Having the name - House of the Rising Sun - added to the mystique. We did not encounter any ghosts (which i am OK with! :-) If we ever return to Nola we will stay here again!

It is on a quiet edge of the french Quarter. Unusually for the area, it has private parking in a locked garage about 5 minutes walk away. I think we were upgraded to a top floor room with a balcony. The room was fine, not terribly big, but the balcony was an absolute delight! Covered; on 2nd floor (3rd in USA); great view down street; sun morning and evening. All staff on desk very friendly.

The hotel itself was very nice. Everything was clean and the service was great. I really liked the decor and vibe the old building has. Parking is limited so i had to park on the street, where my tesla recorded a grown man defacating next to my car, but honestly that could have happened anywhere in nola. Other than that 10/10 would stay there again!

Cozy, Relaxed, Welcoming Stay

For myself and my party, we had an excellent stay. The staff was relaxed and extremely helpful when I needed to park my rental car for a day. I appreciated the long standing history and spiritual energy all around the neighborhood. For folks with inquiring curious minds and those who appreciate the past and love a cozy room (#303) and a cute balcony view outside your door, the this hotel is for you!
