The breakfast was a little sparse, otherwise very pleasant stay. The pool was slightly cool, but we enjoyed it. The hot tub was slightly hotter than I like, but I stayed for five minutes. The fire pit seemed to keep the May flies away.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Open Hearth. We had a nice relaxing weekend. Stay was comfortable- loved the snacks and drinks available to purchase after hours. We also enjoyed their local offerings and support with local food and drink items. Owners/staff very pleasant as well. Will definite stay again!

We checked in and we were so impressed with the property, room, and service, we booked a 2nd night's stay. Firepits make for conversation under the stars or in the lobby. The extra pampering for our pup was above average and special. If we lived in the state or ever come thus way again, this is where we would stay. Highly recommend this family owned and operated (for over 20 years) lodge. Fun for the whole family or just a couple.
