A good room to sleep in in a great location

Great location, beautiful view, comfy beds in a spacious room. Bathroom are retrofit so odd design and the floors seem to be leaking. The internet is at best dodgy and very difficult to connect to requiring long wait and multiple attempts ( tried on mutiple devices) Staff are present rise to the occasion but seem to be filling space more than anything else No atmosphere to speak off just a good room to sleep in, in a great location

The rooms are clean organized comfortable overlooking the mediterranean Sea with an incredible view of the entirety of AUB Zeytuna Bay el corniche. The cleaning staff are very polite and friendly as well. The hotel management is beyond AMAZING respectful and helpful. Especially the lovely manager Mr. Raydan Mr. Ali and others. What a delightful stay that I extended it by an additional 11 days coming to a total of 18 days at this lovely hotel. I highly recommend and encourage visitors to Beirut Lebanon to come here or even local couples who need a magical romantic getaway

I really enjoyed my stay at 1866, however the room carpets needs complete makeover or to be removed completely. It is clearly outdated and old. The pool was nice and quiet but needs to be more maintained and better quality towels. Other than that everything was beautiful.

Overall I like the property. I didn’t like how they handled my luggage that I kept in deposit over two days, came back dirty and broken! I believe they can invest more behind maintenance for the price they’re charging! I like the location, the staff are friendly, the size of the rooms is just right and they are well equipped. Might consider again in future.

Very helpful reception. Check in very slow. There are sketchy people at the entrance of the hotel, who do not necessarily disturb you but are somehow weird. Area is very busy and crowded yet has some good restaurants and views of Beirut and the Mediterranean Sea. Hotel's lobby needs renovation. Overall this is not a 5 star hotel, but rather 2-3 star by western standards.

Absolutely recommend for short stay.

Comfortable accommodations with 24-hr electricity, air conditioning, and good water pressure (all luxuries in Lebanon at this time). Staff was very helpful and cleaning crew was always available and accommodating. Good location and great views from room. Dated carpet which took away from modern ambience. Wifi bandwidth was inconsistent but adequate. Pool is substandard for hotel of this quality. The escalator to hotel reception was not operational which made access to main lobby floor a little inconvenient but an elevator was available in the other wing of the building. Overall good value and give hotel a 4-4.5 star rating.

The hotel has a nice pool and rest area. It is centrally located in a safe area. My room was very large and had all of the amenities including a nice balcony. I am a very sophisticated traveler and this was a last minute nice selection after finding the other hotels were booked or destroyed by the explosion. This is a cost-effective 3 or 4 start hotel so do not grade it on a 5-star basis. But you will find the staff and the wonderful manager Ahmad deserve 6-star rating - they did everything humanly possible to make may stay wonderful and to reduce stress ...at a beautiful restaurant Babel Bay, the table next to me asked how I knew to come to one of the nicest restaurants in Lebanon and I responded that the staff at 1866 Court & Suites guided me. I recently booked a stay at 1866 Court and Suites for a family member who was receiving medical treatment nearby. Unfortunately, the experience was beyond disappointing. Despite booking a sea view room, they were given a room without a sea view. Moreover, the Wi-Fi was completely non-functional throughout their stay, which made it impossible for me to get in touch with them during a critical time. Adding to the frustration, the staff were unhelpful and indifferent to our situation. This lack of basic amenities and poor service made the stay extremely stressful and inconvenient. I would strongly advise against booking this hotel, especially for anyone with similar medical needs or requirements for reliable communication.

This time, i had a bad experience and it was not comfortable at all. The cleaning lady opened the door suddenly in the morning without even knocking. The receptionist started calling for 12:00 checkout at 10:30 am and we asked for 30-60 min to finish packing but he didn’t accept our request (got 3 calls from him to leave asap). Its the first time in my life I get such unprofessional response.

If I could rate their honesty and customer service 0 stars it would have been more appropriate. To start with . 1-it has no separate parking , meaning you can't just park in front of the hotel and have a valley pick up your stuff you have to go in a separate parking three stories underground in a decrepit area. 2-they do not have a proper restaurant at the hotel meaning you go expecting a five-star hotel yet you cannot even be served of breakfast or dinner they tell you to go somewhere and have your own breakfast and your own dinner. This is the first time in my life I see a luxury hotel claim they are a luxury hotel and they can't even offer you a meal and they don't even have a parking for themselves. 3-The highlight of the trip was the attitude of the people at the reception office and the unprofessionalism of their employees. I understand that they are doing bad and the economy is not in their favor but to come up with rules left and right to rob their guests of a couple of dollars here and there were absolutely repugnant. 4-there are beggars everywhere around the area that will never leave you alone. I could spend much more time explaining how disappointing this so-called hotel is but I think anyone who reads will get the gist.
