This lodge was much better than the flamingo

Lodge is located a distance from the main registration and restaurant building. The general store is conveniently located for our general needs although the prices of the items are a premium over the stores outside of the park

In a good location, but if u want to be next to the rim stay at another hotel. This one is centrally located. Room are clean and beds comfortable.

Bucket list

Was wonderful, would be nice if night stand on both sides of bed and if there were lower chairs.

Enjoy the Canyon, do not get frustrated by details

Location is the key, otherwise the property deserves significant upgrade. The room was OK, but the bathroom cries for renovation. Be it as it may, we had wonderful time at Yavapai lodge.

Great location in the canyon park

The lodge was clean, not a lot of accommodations outside the bed. Only stayed for a quick night before hiking the canyon.

Family stay

Room was a bit dated but fine for our family of 5. Required a roll out bed so room space was limited. Ideal stop over to experience Grand Canyon.

Great lodge.

We stayed in Yavapi East and would do so again. No microwave but the place was clean, comfortable, could open windows, had ac. Made our stay at the GC restful.

Grand Canyon trip

Very nice and quiet lodge near the south rim of the Grand Canyon. Just a short drive to actually see the canyon and lots of stuff in between. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the kennel was a nice touch. Bathroom was kinda small but it did the trick for a one night stay. I would definitely come back.

National Park Visit.

Room clean on arrival. Disappointed that no service was provided during our Shottle buses an excellent way to explore the park. Restaurants useful.

Loved it!

It was quite comfortable, but very rustic which is fun if you are in the correct mindset. I loved it. However, my bed frame was so squeeky that it woke me up anytime I moved.
Bethany, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

The room was in the woods, which was nice. They had a dog friendly section. There was no microwave. That may be a village-wide policy, I don't know. But we were close to the canyon to drive up there. They took good care of us, and said if we needed anything we could ask. I would stay there again.
Martin, 2-night trip

Village Idiot!

Needed a better explanation of the make up of Grand Canyon Village - more a widespread collection of resorts than a village. Otherwise, all was good and the shuttle service very useful
Nicholas, 1-night trip

Older building with some updates. Had stained sheets but they changed them out at the wife’s request.
Terry, 1-night trip

Fine for a few hours when visiting the Canyon

The Park is the star, and the hotel did us fine for one night, although it didnt feel value for money at all. Would have been cheaper if we'd booked nearer the time.
Andrew, 1-night trip

Nice stay

Very nice stay for one night . Only problem was we were on first floor and our friend tripped as entering the building as the matting was very worn with a big hole and her foot got caught . Really needs replacing pronto before a nasty accident occurs
Thelma, 1-night trip

Best mattress of my entire vacation

After 2+ weeks of traveling, I appreciated how comfortable the bed was. The best of all. We liked parking right at our door. I could not read the room numbers from the parking lot. They should be bigger and brighter. Confusing numbering system with two of every bldg. An East and west. Frustrating instructions. But, we would stay again and recommend it.

Clean and rustic with a modern touch.

A perfect stay for our one night. Walking distance (1 mile) to the south rim. You can drive to cut the distance. My first trip to the area and it was an amazing experience. I will be going back and will strongly consider this location again. Beds were comfortable. The facade looked like a well maintained brick lodge and a nice feel of the abundant nature around you. Inside had the nice modern amenities. Air conditioning, TV, Keurig. My father (84) was able to navigate many areas. He is fully mobile, but does have COPD.
