Needs Updating but a Safe Stay

Firstly, office staff was very polite, and it was an easy check-in and check-out. The room looked nothing like pictured and is in need of serious updating. Although it was seemed clean enough, it felt old and dark with a hodgepodge of furnishings. The bed was comfortable enough and the area seemed safe enough too. It was just off the highway but was quiet stay for just passing through.

So this hotel is near a cow farm and you can smell it. The hotel itself was good. I thought the bed was kinda hard. No coffee, which is a bummer.

This is a older property but the room looked very new and modern. They have done a great job of keeping the room (the most important part of a stay) up to date. The room was spacious and very very clean. The bed was comfortable and I sleep very well. When I return it will be my first choice of a place to stay. Also, the staff was very friendly and wanted to insure my stay was a pleasant one.

Spacious room, beds super comfortable, well stocked. Amazing feeling to walk into a room and heater already on, when temp was freezing outside. Only thing missing was coffee, coffee maker.

Very tall beds!

The Hotel was very clean, but the beds were abnormally high, and I had to jump up into the bed, which I found odd, but once in bed, it was very comfortable. I slept in the center, as I was afraid of falling out if I rolled over. I'd say they were over 3 feet off the floor. The toilet also had a sour sewage odor when I flushed, even when i simply urinated, but the shower and sink had no order when I used them. The owner was very nice.

Dodge City isn’t Great

I didn’t care for the price . For the price there should’ve at least been toast for breakfast. Zero breakfast is offered. Parking is meager and the lot is crowded from workers. Service is fantastic.

I'd stay there again...

My room was perfectly fine. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the TV was large enough to see across the room, there was a fridge and microwave and ironing board, and the air conditioner worked just fine. There was a pretty bad smell in the room, but I guess I got used to it after a while. I was on the second floor and I was very quiet while walking across the room, but I think the people in the room below me beat on their ceiling, so maybe the floors are pretty thin. I would absolutely stay there again. The price is perfect for me. There were lots of motorcycle travelers staying there, and I like that.

Very run down. The bathroom shower was corroded. The furniture was very worn and stained. The bed was comfortable enough. I would not recommended this place or stay there again. It was one of the only places available when I stayed in Dodge City. You get what you pay for however.

Spacious and clean room. Good value for the price in my opinion. Clean bathroom with working shower. Hot/cold water in faucet and shower. Microwave and fridge in unit. No breakfast. Would be nice if coffee was offered.

The only problem I had was when I checked in they told me they had a no dog allowed policy. That is clearly listed wrong on Expedia's website and needs correcting. They graciously allow me to check in with my dog in spite of their recently changed policy about allowing pets.

Comfortable but not clean enough

We were checked in by a very pleasant & helpful young lady who actually came to our room twice: once to help with a door lock problem and again to deliver extra towels. She was great. Unfortunately our room was less than appealing. There was grime on the inside of the door and something splattered on the ceiling. We wiped down all surfaces we used with disinfectant. But the beds were comfortable, the linen fresh, fridge & microwave clean. Wifi was better than most. Bathroom facilities were relatively new and worked well. It was reasonably quiet and we slept well but would be reluctant to return. Housekeeping did their job but management ultimately sets the standards of cleanliness.
