La Porta rooms were very clean. Staff were very friendly. Tony messaged a few days before to ask time of arrival and I was met at the rooms. The bed was very comfortable. There is not somebody there all the time but this was fine. Tony was contactable if you have an issues. The rooms are on the top floor. The rooms were in a very good position just across from the duplications palace. There were a number of supermarkets nearby. Lots of bars and restaurants. It was a short walk of 10 minutes to the port and same to the bus station to get the airport shuttle. The main bus station is 10 minutes the other way to get local buses to Omiš and Trogir.

Amazing stay for a few days in Split! Toni was absolutely fantastic with us, super responsive and willing to help. Climbing up the few floors of stairs helped us to stay fit during the trip ;) great location, and breakfast service right at the heart of the old town. Would super recommend!!

Friendly welcome and help with luggage up all the stairs. Lovely well equipped room and a surprise bottle of wine in the fridge. Quiet room, comfortable beds and a good shower. A very pleasant start to our holiday.

An exceptionally clean and lovely room. Great view from the window. Tony was very helpful during our stay, even meeting us to carry our heavy suitcase up the stairs when we arrived. This property truly delivered, and the host was exceptional. My only reservation is that as you enter the path to the building, it wasn’t particularly inviting as it needed a facelift. However, the building and the accommodations themselves were exceptional. The bed was very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Really nice, clean room and Tony is a great host. My only complaint is the directions. All businesses within the walled area in Split can be difficult to find. Perhaps pictures of the path to follow and where to turn would help.

Lovely room (number 1), not much of a view, but comfortable well equipped room, fabulous shower. Tony & his wife who manage the property are lovely people & very helpful & both work very hard! Location is excellent, just outside the Deocletian Palace and by the local market. Complementary wine was poor quality but the manager was great at arranging airport transportation. The room and view were lovely. You do have to climb 79 steps to get to it though!
