We had a great trip to Estes Park and would absolutely stay at Trailborn again. It was a beautiful hotel, comfortable room and great location. Our kids loved the free smores in the evenings. Our first room didn't have any water pressure in the shower and they immediately upgraded us to a new room, no hassle. The customer service was excellent.

We enjoyed a stay at Trailborn Rocky Mountains while visiting Estes for the Longs Peak Scottish Irish Highland Festival. Staff was very friendly, rooms were clean, parking was easy and we had choices of many restaurants within walking distance. It was a great place to stay!

Cute updated motel. Modern room. Lots of amenities. I like the fire pit. Kind of a small, tight bathroom but it was fine. My main gripe was the thermostat. It’s a modern touchscreen but comes with rules on what to do and what not to do. Even though it’s the summer, the room was a bit chilly at night. I couldn’t find anyway to turn on the heat. It was stuck on cool (set for the summer?) with no way to change it to heat. And the best I could do was turn the cool off. So the room stayed at like 69. I typically like a warmer room and guests should have the ability to turn on heat if they so choose to, not just the ability to turn the a/c off.

Hotel is overrated with the amenities. Location was convenient to downtown, walkable. Hotel was close to the highway so can be loud at times. Price was not a good value, breakfast was not included. 10 minutes from the park and walking distance to town, Trailborn Rocky Mountains was a great hub for my mountains getaway. Friendly staff, comfy bed, and fun lobby energy all contributed to a great stay.
