Great hotel, family run, very clean and friendly. Great little store across the street, close to good dinning!

Exactly what we needed

A friend and i did a girls trip, and stayed for the night. Pretty clean, no weird smells, and a comfy bed.
Kelley, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

I'm used to the area so it doesn't bother me. Did see a roach during my stay but other than that, we enjoyed our time.
Dayton, 2-night trip

Stopover during long drive

Decent stay for quick overnight relief from driving. Dingy & worn. No plug for the tub conditioner in shower, needed one more towel. Otherwise it was adequate. Was looking for a direct into room stay to minimize packing/unpacking which was part of why this was chosen.
Anna, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

This motel was clean and quiet, with parking in a courtyard. The staff was pleasant and helpful.
Nancy, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The room was large. Plenty of table/counter space to set belongings. No carpet so floor was clean. Bathroom was decent size.
Dawn, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Convenient, inexpensive, clean, good refrigerator freezer microwave. No coffee machine, I went to nearby DD.
Lawrence, 1-night trip

A short stay.

An overnight stay prior to resuming a trip to Michigan. Every appliance was functional, and the water was hot. No breakfast was offered.
Douglas, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The room was clean, however the property was unkempt. There were boxes under the open staircase and it appeared that there were permanent residents in the area. The area nearby had many empty buildings with broken windows.
Judith, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

just fine if you need to stay in Herkimer

It was clean if a little rough. We requested non-smoking, but clearly it was either situated close to smoking, or the previous guest ignored that.
Jonni, 2-night trip

4/10 Fair

There were arguing outside one of the rooms. After my observation it looks like they live there. I gather paying monthly rates. The room was clean and staff was ok. Would I stay there again No.. The place was close to area stores so that was a plus.
Linda, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

We decided not to stay at the hotel. The room was not smoke free Nor did the area around the hotel look safe.
Frederick, 1-night trip

This is a difficult post to write, whilst you can see the owners work hard to build up their business, the long stay residents made us feel very uncomfortable. The police were called while we were there. The rooms appear clean however after I had a shower my husband commented how black my feet were! The milk and sugar pack turned my husbands coffee so threw it away. I am sorry as you can see the owners are trying hard but $119 a night I would expect more in a motel
Karen, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Very run down property. Rooms were barely livable. Our room stank of cigarettes even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking property. There were no other options because of the eclipse. We had to go to Walmart and buy air fresheners and run the bathroom fan all night just to be able to sleep. Horrible experience.
Anna, 1-night trip

Room somewhat shabby. Carpet felt creepy. Shower head not fully functional. Room smelled stale. TV was not user friendly.Smokers standing outside other rooms.
Carolyn, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

No room at the inn

i went there to rent my room per my reservation I was told by a gentlemen there that there was a sign in the office saying there was no rooms available Then he said that he didn,t know the owners phone # but some how came up with it The owner came on the phone and said i could have a room if I payed 80.00 which I had no intention of doing I felt sorry for the guy that was running the place because they didn,t leave Him a clue to what was going on.

Qe made the mistake of staying at the InnTowne Motel. We were placed on ground level. Mistake number 1. The room next to us had broken window borded up wirh plywood. Mistake number 2. Women talking to men all night long unceasingly, doors opening and closing all night. Mistake number 3. Our alarm went off at 6 am. Which must have woken our neighbors who then proceded to have morning relations. Mistake number 4. Their headboard knocked the wall against our bed. It felt sleezy. Yuck! Most unpleasant!
