The hotel street was blocked off by the police for a protest but the staff were waiting by the blockade to assist with luggage and made our visit so convenient and safe. This was the best hotel I ever stayed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room, bed, shower were all great. The location was excellent. The breakfast was buffet but you could get a cooked breakfast as well with an amazing view of the square. This includes a free walking tour through Mexico City’s Historical district . During the day and night, the cafe by the front desk offered free beer, tea, coffee along with snacks chips, soup and pizza. I had dinner at the restaurant very good but a bit pricey.
