We booked a three star property and got what we expected for what we paid. It was quite handy walking distance to the railway station and to the shops as well as to visit the great tourist attractions including the Qantas Museum, Stagecoach ride and the Stockman's Hall of Fame. Altogether a great few days holiday!!

In room - clean and comfortable. Outside - you would almost think the property abandoned. Pool area and courtyard substandard. No staff on premises. Reception office is a closed work in progress site with a mobile number taped to window for issues.

Shuttle pick up from the train was excellent Thankyou. Service was non existent after that. Phone number listed on piece of paper at unattended reception door was never answered. Ended up getting info from local taxi service- v helpful locals in Longreach! Accomodation itself is old and tired and needs a major revamp. Location is fine for walking to local pubs for dinner.

3rd time here but will be last; room had a lot of bugs and bug/rodent poo throughout bathroom, shower still had used soap in the bottom, woke up with crickets crawling accross my face. Shame because previous experience was much better

Code to enter room did not work, they don't answer phones after.hours. Spider webs in room, strange smell in room. Overpriced.

Reception permantly closed. Had sign with phone number but we had no phone signal. Another guest phoned for us… no answer. The other guest said to go to Albert Park Motot Inn to check in. No one at reception there. Found a cleaner in laundry who helped us. Apparently access info was in text message, but when on the road in outback Queensland, no phone signal! Also, bathroom needs work.
