This was our first time lakeside after many trips to Lake George, and although the lakeside space/beach was postage-stamp size, there are nice chairs to sit in to look over the lake. We would definitely choose this hotel again. It is for sure overpriced, but all of Lake George is.

Clean and very close to everything. My wishlist would be a bigger private beach. Only had 6 chairs which were claimed the entire day with guest towels and boats all in the area docked which made the water acess crowded. Other than that, this place is perfect. Very attentative to detail keeping it clean.

Next time I would request the L rooms, I assume the L is for Lake. We were up by the street, which was fine. The lake side rooms had a better view and next to the pool. TV in our room was small and quite far away, but you don't go to Lake George to watch TV. A free breakfast would be nice, but by no means a deal breaker. Would gladly book the Lake Crest Inn again.

Safe and quiet property right in walking distance of Lake George town center. Facilities were clean and well kept. Privacy and nice decks. Able to see fireworks celebrations from the shoreline. Pool and beach area, kayaks available for rent. My only recommendation is that the facility has a late check-in (4pm) and early check out (10am) which made us a bit rushed on our day of departure. Breakfast is also available here with takeout as an option.
