Where do we start, from arrival the staff, from mangemenrf all the way to housekeepoing, were so welcoming and friendly. The rooms were above clean. The breakfast was freshly cooked and very nicely presented. We will definitely be staying there again soon

The staff at Gracellie are utterly fantastic, and really made the stay. Whilst the rooms look a little bit run down, the friendly staff and location make this a lovely place to stay. The hotel is a very brief walk from Shanklin beach, and the bus stop and train station are very close. Shanklin old town, Shanklin Chine and Sandown are all walkable distances too.

Needs a bit of care and attention

The manager was excellent and could not do enough for us. The bar was good but needed a clean. Breakfast was very good. Bedroom was a bit run down and seemed toshed over.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming but unfortunately the cleanliness of the hotel let it down. The kettle in our room was dirty on the outside and a few stains on the bed sheets also the paint work on the doors around the hotel were brown where they hadn’t been cleaned. Pool wasn’t open which was disappointing as the whole reason I chose hotel & the fact they accept dogs. Room & bathroom very small. No chair/stool at dressing table. Fabulous staff though that really welcomed you & made our stay enjoyable

Room was clean, quiet, and larger than expected for a single room. Parking was very convenient. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice and you could pick what you wanted. Downside was that towel was not replaced, even though I stayed for almost a week. The carpet in the corridors to the rooms looked quite grubby and if this was replaced I think it would make a big difference, as the hotel does have a lot of positive points but doesn’t give a great first impression.
