Royal treatment for a great price

It is a no brainer to stay at this gorgeous Hotel in the country. We stayed in the Ruins building off to the side of the main building, large room, very comfy, with stunning grounds. The dinner and breakfast were awesome and staff exceptional. It was like staying in Downton Abbey, not that we have, but it felt like it!

Just go for it!

We will be back! Staff were 10/10, really made our trip special - It’s the small details with this place. You can tell the staff are happy working here :) Although the spa is relatively small (at the moment), it was perfect and not too crowded. We had the sauna and steam room to ourselves during our stay, and the jacuzzi for the morning sunrise all to ourselves. Dinner and breakfast were both amazing too.

Beautiful, historic manor house complex with full serve restaurant, bar, spa and lovely function facilities and grounds. Massive three hundred year old beech tree out front. Very clean, quality linen, modern facilities. Highly recommend!

A wonderful country house

This is a lovely historic property with amazing grounds, a wonderful breakfast, accommodating staff, and lovely amenities like the spa and bathrobes in the rooms. Be careful when booking you room, however, that you get what you want... I did not realize until I got there that I would not be getting a room in the main building or the brick ones attached to it, but instead a room in the stables. These should be ok in theory. But for some reason, I was plagued by flies all night. I don't know how they were getting into the room.

This was a lovely hotel. The staff were lovely and showed me to my room. I couldn’t get the tv working on the first night but it was sorted for me the following day. Felt like a real treat, staying there, and it wasn’t overpriced.

I have stayed here a number of times and it just gets better. Comfortable room, great atmosphere and food in the bar/drawing room and Judith looked after me incredibly well. I had a guest in for dinner, she made sure we had a good table and were well looked after and then was on hand at breakfast as I left before breakfast was due to start, and I had a delicious breakfast. I was even given a take away Cappucinno!!

Wonderful place, poor service.

The service was not great. The place is amazing, very beautiful, but the service was poor. Waiters never showing up, the receptionists not really well prepared. The sauna and hot tub area could be cleaner.

The staff at Bellinter were extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was lovely, and very warm. Great feel to the hotel and the sauna/steamroom is a lovely addition. We were there for an anniversary and they made our stay feel very special! The only negative would be the walls are quite thin so we were woken up by guests at 3am for quite some time. Would definitely come back to stay here again.
