We always enjoy staying with Ricardo and his fantastic staff at Princess Mayev. They were working on their incredible Christmas display for 2 weeks while we were there! They lit up the Display Dec 1st! It is amazing!! The hotel is super clean and its location can’t be beat! We will definitely return. Thanks for a delightful stay 🤗

Great stay

We had a great stay in Villa 2, with our own little private cooling pool. Service was great. Cleaning was pretty good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There can be quite a bit of street noise at night, especially on weekends. The party buses driving by are LOUD, but usually stop by 1am. Xmas decorations were over top the awesome.

I stayed 6 nights end of March. Staff was amazing and friendly, restaurant service impeccable and all my dishes breakfast and dinner were delicious, pool clean, distance to centro less than 10 min. Close to shopping centers and beaches. Rooms have full size toiletries. Older rooms but clean and comfy. Suggestions, fridge and microwave and better lighting in the room. Some light music in restaurant would be nice. A small shop w snacks, water, pop etc. I definitely will be returning. Thank you. Very nice and helpful staff. Massages a plus. Gracias de Chicago

Best Hotel in Huatulco

Our group booked this hotel as our last hotel out of 3 hotels that we stayed at during our 2 week trip. This hotel was the best in regards to location, service, and rooms. Our friends booked a pool walkout suite and the hottub suite while my wife and I booked a private pool suite. All suites were great. The food at the hotel was amazing and very reasonably priced. The staff were welcoming and always friendly. The hotel was located in a great area with beaches and shopping only a 35 peso taxi ride away. I will definitely stay here again.

This was a wonderful hotel. The staff were amazing and very friendly. The front desk staff were great and helped us with any questions. The manager Ricardo was very engaging and checked in with us often to see how our trip and stay were going. The food in the restaurant was fantastic and reasonably priced. Our servers Enrique and Eder were excellent and provided exceptional service. The hotel itself was well located and was a good base for all of exploring. The grounds and facilities were well maintained and we loved spending time at the 2 pools- with a third opening soon. We are hoping to come back soon!

First off, this hotel has amazing views of the ocean and surrounding forrests. The pools are also pretty nice. The rooms are a bit old (especially the furniture!) but are comfortable. With a bit of investment, this place could be considered almost luxurious. The downsides: no coffee in room (maybe not a Mexican custom?), and the one sold at the restaurant is a bit pricey. WiFi in rooms is spotty, sometimes terrible (it's fine around the pool though). The main issue is the noise... this place is VERY popular with families, so expect a lot of kids and teens having a great time in the pool until closure at 10pm. Very few foreigners so you get a real Mexican experience.

The hotel is in a good location only about 6-8 minutes from the beach Le Entrega, by taxi. The hotel is quiet and the pool is very nice and the view is amazing and the staff is great, but it is definitely time to do some updating. The furniture is old and there was a hole where the ceiling fan was. They don’t offer towels to take to the beach so you might have to be sneaky about it. The food is awful and very expensive. Eat elsewhere. I ordered a steak and it was dry, chewy and it looked grey.

The view from the hotel is amazing! Being up on the hill, there is gorgeous landscape as far as the eye can see. The hotel itself is beautiful and very clean. The grounds are beautifully kept and right now they have lovely lights and decorations for the Christmas season. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, we slept so well! We enjoyed swimming in the pools, again very clean and well kept. The staff were really nice, helpful and pleasant. The hotel is in a fantastic location, about 15-20 min walk to Santa Cruz, or La Crucecita center, or Playa Chahue. We walked everywhere (day and night) and loved it, always felt safe. There's also a large supermarket about 5 min walking distance, which made it so easy to get anything you need. We loved our stay at Princess Mayev hotel and will definitely stay again next time we come to Huatulco!
