It was very nice and very clean. One of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed in with a great view. Close to many restaurants and activities safe to walk, a lot of entertainment we hope will come back soon.

Hotel El Espanol provides good service, condition,location, and amenities. Excellent value. No complaints. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location so central, we walked almost everywhere we wanted to go. Paseo de Montejp is a beautiful boulevard lined with gorgeous buildings and featuring all manner of food and entertainment. Highly recommend.

Ideal budget stay

An average stay really. I stayed in a suite room which was very spacious and clean. It was cleaned/serviced everyday to a good standard. Food at the hotel was quite basic and poor and the pool area isn’t the best, but in terms of value for money I think it’s adequate and fair for the price paid. The area around the hotel is good, within very short walking distance of restaurants, bars and shops. An ideal budget stay. The staff were very helpful with booking taxis etc.

Dirty and horrible

I am totally shocked that this website would include this hotel in their selection. We had scheduled 12 days at this location but we left after 2 days. The room was dirty, the curtains were soiled, the bathrooms were rusted out, I can go on and on with how dirty, old and unsafe this hotel is. Somebody needs to put a stop to it immediately.
