Although it's a non-smoking Motel the room reach of smoke, the screen had fallen off the window and the floors were sticky. The last straw though was the earwig crawling across the bed. Yuck.

Motel 6 - Belmont CA

Motel 6 is very, very basic. But the price was right. The room was quite commdious, but there was no comfortabke chair, only 2 school type desk chairs. No coffee maker, but coffee was available in the lobby. Restaurant next door a little on the pricey side.

Check in was great, I like that the rooms are inside a hallway that requires a room key to enter. Room itself was spacious. Bathtub I don’t believe was cleaned before arrival, and sheet had a stain but they smelled clean so I really think it was just set in the fabric. Overall, it was ok.

My family and I were in town for a volleyball tournament. We’ve stayed other places and didn’t sleep or feel safe. This location was perfect. 5 minutes from the convention center and a good well lit area. We’ll be staying here for now on. Rate was great also.

Expect Motel amenities, but great Restaurant

This is a Motel, not a hotel, so adjust expectations accordingly. Despite that, the checkin was courteous and efficient, the room was large but spartan, the walls are thin, but pets stay for free, and there is a great breakfast and lunch diner attached to the Motel, called Hobees, a great Silucon Valley small chain for 50 years with good food and service.
