Roach Motel!

Took my family for a weekend of beach and amusement park fun. Checked in late the evening, and upon entering the room we got blasted with a strong bleach odor. It was late so we decided to tough it out. Left early the next day and returned to the room late that evening. That's when we found a cockroach on the bed! A quick inspection and we found 5 more roaches! Immediately checked and packed our bags! Best part is the on shift manager wouldn't refund us the money for the night. Their response was "we try to keep them out." Stay away from this place!

The first room they had for us had a can of roach bomb on floor and smelled strongly second room had no air conditioning! The room was so dirty, stained sheets, dead roaches on the floor, poop stain on bathroom wall, hair clumps in the shower. The floors are nasty! The curtains had holes everywhere.

Even though the rooms are just average at best, you have many options for restaurants, grocery shopping, and close proximity to the beach. It’s quite safe around there, but you do hear some of the freeway traffic. Overall though, I’d recommend this place if you need a comfy bed and good options for food.
