A Place to Return To

This is our third year in a row staying at this Motel 6. We come back because of the staff, the service and the cleanliness of our rooms. It’s not too far from Santa Barbara and not too far from Ventura so it’s the perfect location. Carpinteria is a beautiful seaside city with a lot of history!

We needed an inexpensive but clean and safe place to put our head down. That is exactly what hotel six did. The beds are comfortable. Everything was spotless in the room was as we hoped for. It was small, but satisfied what we needed. For Budget conscious people, you can’t go wrong.

This is our 4th time staying at this motel 6. It's off the beaten path, but close to restaurants and the beach. They always accomodate us with a downstairs room, and the mini fridge and microwave make it easy to not have to spend too much on food and drinks.

One Night Stay

This was an overnight stay. The hotel was conveniently located by the 101 as we were on a road trip. The room itself was clean and comfortable enough. The mattresses were a little lumpy but that was expected. The bathroom was clean and had only a shower. The room had two beds and a fridge with a small table as well. It felt a little cramped but also spacious enough (if that makes sense). The reception was great and checking in and out was seamless and straightforward.

When I checked in I was told by the front desk clerk they were fully booked. This meant I was not going to be able to request a ground floor room. Our keys did not work so i had to go back to the front desk to get them working again. We asked for a non-smoking room. And as soon as we walked into our room there was a distinctive smell of smoke in the room. The shower is super small, and condsidering all the space in the bathroom, the showers should be upgraded. Housekeeping was friendly and helpful.
