The room is tiny, but the bed was clean and comfortable. My daughter found a bug on her towel, but everything else was clean. The towels and wash cloths are very scratchy. Great location and easy access to the beach.

Marina Motel 6 is Awesome

If you’re looking for a budget friendly option in the Monterey Bay area, look no further. The Marina Motel 6 is perfect. And they have great coffee in the lobby (until 10.) Only 15 mins to Monterey and there’s a Denny’s right next door.

This is a dingy motel. The floor was filthy (as evident via the black sludge present upon shower). The toilet had about 1/4" clearance from the door swing and was very close to the wall. Of coarse, the thinnest of sheets were used on the bed.
