We wanted a place near the beach and this was just what we needed. The staff at sea friend are super friendly they even pick up and drop off all their customers to and from the ferry port. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was very hearty. Overall fantastic experience in a simple basic room close to the beach. You even get discount on snorkeling gear as a hotel guest and we saw lots of fish and a sea turtle just off the beach right across from the hotel. Thank you sea friend for being very kind and making our time on the island memorable.

Sea Friend was the best. Despite cancellation of the public ferry, Sea Friend stepped in to help everyone get back to the main island. Truly an above-and-beyond act of kindness that I will never forget.

The decor is nostalgic and well kept. The bus pick up from the port and return to the port were well scheduled and comfortable. The breakfast and dinner (optional purchase) were very good. They looked after us and contacted us in the middle of the day because the weather was getting bad for the ferry and was projected to be cancelled the following two days. So we were able to get off the island that day. A lovely place to stay on a lovely island. And great location too. Just a short walk to the most beautiful beach.

The rooms definitely need to be renovated as the flooring and wallpaper are all coming apart. The rooms are also very tiny. But besides that the rooms were clean and it’s a perfect location. Staff messaged me before I arrived to find out when I would get in, and arranged for transport to take me to the hotel. After I checked out they offered to store my luggage until I left, and also gave me a drive back to the terminal. I loved my room in the cabin, very close walk to the beach. The restuarant next door was amazing, breakfast was included but I had every meal there. Many options for mixed drinks as well as food. One of the few meal options open til 9pm. Gets very quiet after dark. The only sub-par was the shower facility. My room had a mini-fridge. There was an AC unit in my room, very refreshing to come back to. The store in the lobby sells drinks and ice cream and items like batteries and sunscreen, and is open 8am-8pm. Vending machines outside the lobby with many options. Very happy with my stay, I hope to return. They also had rentals for beach umbrellas, snorkle gear and fins, etc right next to the restaurant.

I loved the honesty of the staff. Due to weather conditions I had to shorten my stay and due to maintenance of the ferry I arrived one day later then booked. I got all nights reimbursed without any cancellation fee. Fantastic! Thank you very much for your honesty and great customer service. Also this place is the only one where card payments are possible on the island. Thus, I borrowed snorkeling equipment and enjoyed the food of the restaurant. The breakfast options are very healthy (which I loved). They offer a salad buffet, fruits, rice, miso soup, salmon, but also bakery with jam, eggs and bacon. The dinner options are large from sushi/sashimi/curry/French Fries/fish… Free shuttle service from and to the ferry was great (if you know where the pick up takes place). It’s a blue bus at the parking lot. When telling on the island you’re staying at Seafriend everyone is able to help finding them. It is a very nice and small island. The beach close to the hotel really is worth snorkeling and you can swim more freely than at the other beaches. There are also Kanu boats for rental to explore a nearby island. Diving also is possible. So lots to do on this small paradise.

あいにくのお天気で大雨の中のボートシュノーケリングとなりましたが、とても素晴らしい珊瑚礁と沢山の魚の群を見られるポイントに案内していただき、妻と二人大満足な経験となりました。食事も土地の物を上手に使った素朴だけどとても美味しいお料理でとても満足できました。次回は晴天のシュノーケリングを満喫し、夜は満天の星空を眺めに行きたいです。

The beach next to hotel is beautiful! The climbing up to observation deck is totally worth it. You get 360 degree view! We rented a small vehicle to drive around the island. Sakura is ready to blossom . The view is amazing! We booked with breakfast & dinner package & was very convenient & good too,
