After checking in, was sent to a room with the door ajar. After peeking in, was obvious that I had been sent to a room not yet cleaned. I notified the clerk and he reassigned me to another room with no problem; however, the new room had no towels at all, no remote for the television, and hardly any toilet paper. I would say this is the standard “get what you pay for” situation when it comes to hotels, but since this was Memorial Day Weekend, I got charged basically double rate for this substandard stay.
