Very friendly and welcoming, has bar and restaurant in situ, balcony views, wake up and view the ocean from your room. Staff are a fantastic team and are willing to make your stay a good one. Will definitely return.

A lovely small hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is in a lovely position close to the beach. We had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant and the food was amazing.

Fabulous place and location

We had a wonderful 1 night stay. We spent all day and night at the hotel using the bar and restaurant and the food was fabulous. The staff are so nice and friendly and the room had the best views with a huge balcony. We will definitely be back!

Fabulous beach hotel. Perfect location with great sea views from dining areas, outside in garden and direct beach access at bottom of garden. Most rooms have a balcony. Room was light and airy, spacious. Beds comfortable, all clean and tidy.

Had a great stay for few days R and R. Room with ocean view and everythimg everything we needed for a comfortable stay.The staff were very friendly and nothing was to much trouble. The food was so good we ate there the whole time of our stay. Very relaxed atmosphere,just what the doctor ordered.

Charming stay.

Very friendly atmosphere from the start and the staff were so friendly. Room was pleasant, spacious and we slept well. Lovely to wake and stroll on the beach and watch the rollers at breakfast time. The food in the bistro was excellent and very good value. It was an excellent choice to use as a base for exploring the coastline. We wish them all the very best and hope to stay with yhem in the future.

Superb spot on the beach. Room rather tired but not uncomfortable, with shower that left a lot to be desired. Room had a huge balcony location with extensive views down the beach. However, lovely food and friendly efficient service. Nice o w night stay with lovely Bude close by.

For us it was very disappointing, the photos did not represent the accommodation. The room we were given was very small and tired looking and we decided it wasn’t for us and did not stay.

Meet and greet non existent. Quirky place meaning hard to navigate so would have been much easier with a bell for reception and signs to direct. Radiator in our room was filled with cobwebs. Tray with cups on had not been cleaned. Balcony not swept. Overall feeling was of ‘can’t be bothered’!!!

Honest Review

I read up about the property prior to going. The owners advised they had taken over from previous owners and they were slowly doing up which you can see in the rooms,although still missing a few key things. However the exterior of the property is very shabby. Whilst we arrived early there was no one around only the cleaner who advised us to come back later, which wasn't a problem. The location and view from our room were amazing. The food was excellent just a shame the restaurant or bar were not open after 5pm on the Sunday.

Charmantes Hotel mit wunderschöner Aussicht und sehr gutem Essen. Das Hotel ist zwar etwas "in die Jahre gekommen" wir würden es aber trotzdem wieder buchen. Das Abendessen war das beste Essen das wir (bis jetzt) in England gegessen haben.
